Jim Tyrrell, Freemans Event Partners Non-Executive Director

We are deeply saddened by the news that our good friend and colleague Jim Tyrrell has passed away.

Jim was a Non-Executive Director at Freemans Event Partners and a lifelong friend of the Freeman family. He had a huge influence on shaping the company into what it is today and was a guiding force for the business over the years.

Jim supported many of the Freemans Event Partners colleagues through the hardest times acting both as a mentor and a friend. Just last week, he was talking to the whole team at Freemans, encouraging people to grow professionally and personally.

Throughout his career, Jim held numerous high-level roles in the automotive industry in the UK and abroad. In 2000, he joined Mitsubishi Motors in the UK as CEO and remained in that position for 9 years. Lately, Jim was SsangYong GB Executive Chairman. He was also a business investor and carried out a number of Non-Executive and advisory positions in the automotive, engineering, consulting as well as the food and drink sectors.

Everyone at Freemans Event Partners will miss Jim enormously.
