New season, new menus

Our Catering Team have been doing what they do best as we kick off the 2018 events season in style.

As a starter for 10, they’ve launched new menus across our catering outlets, which will be sited at events throughout the UK and Europe this season.  The new menus have been lovingly created by a team of dedicated chefs and reflect feedback from our event-goers over the past year to ensure they meet the consumer’s wants and needs.

The new menus were previewed at the first 2 Jockey Club events of the season – Cheltenham Races and Aintree – and proved an immediate hit with the hungry crowds.  At Cheltenham Races alone, we operated 7 of the catering units on site, delivering over 10 different types of food, with our most popular units being our Burger Outlet, Fish Outlet, Pasty Outlet and Hog Roast.

The new dishes on the menus have been exclusively designed to take our catering offering to a new level and offer the event goer high quality, ‘on-trend’, on-the-go food and drink. On our Hog Roast Outlet, we introduced the extremely popular Loaded Crispy Fries – golden crispy fries, loaded with slow-cooked British pork topped with sour cream and fresh spring onions. Delicious!

If you stopped off to grab yourself some chicken, you would have seen the new Hot Wings – succulent chicken wings coated in a Piri Piri sauce. A spicy delight.

And if that isn’t enough, we also introduced a street food twist with the launch of our Classic Pulled Beef.  An addition to our pulled pork offering, we served slow roasted beef brisket with homemade pickled slaw, topped with sticky BBQ sauce. It’s certainly our new favourite!
